Position Description Purpose Under direct supervision, provide basic support to laboratory functions including maintenance, operation and inventory of equipment and supplies. Support research investigators as needed. Primary Functions Provide clean and sterilized glassware for use in research lab. Operate and maintain a variety of basic lab equipment such as autoclaving.

The Surgical Technologist handles instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon.
