Join us as the Corporate Accounting Supervisor where you will empower decision-makers with precision financial insights. Spearhead the oversight of corporate bank accounts and cash transactions, ensuring efficiency and minimizing fees. Drive collaboration with auditors for flawless financial statements and tax returns. Lead the charge in closing monthly and year-end books and auditing benefit plans. Support communication with lenders on our financial status. Streamline insurance policy renewals and premium audits. ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Take a supporting role in coordinating the annual financial audit of the company's books and records. Responsible for creating the US GAAP P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements, along with the necessary Tax Provision worksheet to finalize the audit.
  • Take a supporting role in coordinating the company's tax accountants in preparing the company's US Tax Return utilizing the results from the financial audit. Further, should any audit from a State or Federal agency occur, take a supporting role on coordinating the audit. Further, calculate and arrange to have paid the quarterly estimated State and Federal tax payments.
  • Take a lead role in coordinating the monthly close of the company's financial books across all divisions. Prepare the final bonus and tax entries monthly. Once closed, coordinate the reporting of the monthly P&L and Balance Sheet results for Sr. Management.
  • Take the lead role in managing the corporations bank accounts and services provided by banks and fintech companies
  • Manage the financial accounting of Corporate Benefit Plans (401(k), health, life, LTD, HSA, flexible spending).
  • Identify and implement treasury management services that streamline processes, reduce costs, strengthen internal controls, or reduce the possibility of fraudulent activities.
  • Oversee the company's P-Card program, establishing the policies and use of corporate credit cards.
  • Support the preparation of a Statement of Values for the renewal of the company's business insurance policies on a timely basis. Contact person for claims.

  • Timely and accurate depreciation processing
  • Calculate U.S. tax depreciation for foreign assets
  • Other financial activities- governmental census reports, annual state reporting of corporations, shareholder schedules, foreign bank account reporting (FBAR).
  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure for audited financial statements and tax reporting by keeping the chart of accounts updated. Responsible for the Corporation's chart of accounts and proper category coding of general ledger account numbers to ensure all financial reporting works properly.
  • On a quarterly basis update the necessary schedules to measure whether the company is within its bank credit agreement's loan covenant and communicate to the bank.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors' degree in Accounting/Finance required; Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting/Finance and/or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) professional designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Accounting/Finance required. Experience in the following areas, financial accounting, income tax, payroll accounting and taxes highly preferred.
  • Experience with GAAP, tax related issues (LIFO, and R&D) and treasury are required.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills required.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power BI, and working with on-line portals to retrieve or deliver documents.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Insurance and retirement plan administration helpful.
  • Knowledge of JDE preferred.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset preferred.
