Talgo Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist  to join the team in Milwaukee, WI  2 - 4 years of experience to join our organization.

SUMMARY

Install, troubleshoot, and perform minor repair on laptop/desktop computing equipment. Also solve user's routine problems with network or applications software. 

Some duties of the position are, but not limited to:

  • Provide end user support for all desktops, laptops and network related issues including printers, internet, emails, hardware, operating systems and other propriety software
  • Be part of the global Help Desk team for Talgo Group located in Spain
  • Support and follow up with the Talgo Group IT team on tickets opened
  • Ensure that personal computers, laptops, desktop, telecommunication systems and network, are functioning properly and available for their intended users
  • Troubleshoot, repair, install and upgrade operating systems and other proprietary software
  • Assist in hardware and software deployment planning and execution
  • Grant and maintain access to the network drives
  • Support VPN
  • Maintain Talgo Inc. Microsoft SharePoint page
  • As needed, prepare reports for projects and tickets
  • Deliver exceptional user support service
  • Bring a wide degree of creativity and flexibility on finding solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 – 3 years of experience as a Desktop Support Specialist in Windows based environment
  • Proficient with Windows Server 2016/2019
  • Proficient with Windows 7, 10 and workstation connectivity to servers, printers and internet
  • Configuration CMDB tools.
  • Active Directory, DHCP and DNS management
  • LAN/WAN knowledge
  • M365 administration
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
Other important qualifications:
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to take and pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check, including MVR records

WORK SCHEDULE

Work hours will usually be from 8am- 12:30pm, but may include evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary. Unforeseen situations may require after hours availability. Some travel may be required.
