We are currently hiring for our Inspection Supervisor:

Reporting to the plant Quality Manager, the Inspection Services Supervisor is a key part of the Quality Team. Responsibilities include review, inspection, and release of all products including, control of measuring instruments, CMM, receiving inspection, and welding compliance.

This position has responsibility for all aspects of managing the Inspection Department including equipment maintenance, purchases, software, hiring, training, budgets, work assignment, customer corrective action and development & growth of inspection team.

The Inspection Services Supervisor ensures that proper equipment, personnel, and methods are in place to support complex dimensional inspections, compliance to rules and regulations, and customer technical reviews or approvals. The inspection department works closely with manufacturing, engineering, and customers to develop inspection and product control, resolve quality issues, support new business, and ensure compliance to customer and industrial regulations.

Qualifications
  • Solid knowledge of inspection fundamentals such as Blueprint reading, GD&T and Metrology
  • Demonstrated history of leading teams to achieve success in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with machining and foundry operations is strongly desired
  • Problem-solving proficiency in methods such as Six Sigma, Red X and 8D/5Y is preferred.
  • A degree in engineering or related discipline, or similar knowledge gained through a combination of education and experience, is preferred.
